[S/459] TM Security Council, Noting with concern the hostilities in progress between the armed forces of the Netherlands and the Republic of Indonesia, Calls upon the parties : (a) To cease hostilities forthwith, and (b) To settle their dispute by arbitration or by other peaceful means and keep the Security Council informed about the progress of the settlement.

Constatant avec inquiltude que des hostilit& sont en cours entre les forces armees des Pays-Bas et la Republique d'Indonesie,
Invite les parties:
a) A cesser immediatement les hostilites, et
ab) A regler leur differend en recourant l'arbitrage ou a tout autre moyen pacifique et a tenir le Conseil
de securite au courant des pro~ accomplis dans la voie du reglement.
