At its 1034th meeting, on 7 May 1963, the Council decided to invite the representatives of Iraq and Kuwait to participate, without vole, in the discussion of the question of the admission of Kuwait to membership in the United Nations.

At the same meeting the Council, after examining the application of Kuwait,16 unanimously decided to recommend to the General Assembly that Kuwait should
be admitted to membership in the United Nations.
