Decision

At its 1136th meeting, on 18 June 1964, the Council decided to invite the representatives of Cyprus, Turkey and Greece to participate, without vote, in the discussion of the Secretary-General's report on the United Nations operation in Cyprus for the period 26 April to 8 June 1964.6

The Security Council, Noting that the report of the Secretary-General 7 considers the maintenance in Cyprus of the United Nations Peace-keeping Force, created by Security Council resolution 186 (1964) of 4 March 1964, for an additional period of three months to be useful and advisable, Expressing its deep appreciation to the SecretaryGeneral for his efforts in the implementation of Security Council resolutions 186 (1964) of 4 March 1964 and 187 (1964) of 13 March 1964, Expressing its deep appreciation to the States that have contributed troops, police, supplies and financial support for the implementation of resolution 186 (1964),
I. Reaffirms its resolutions 186 (1964) and 187 (1964); 2. Calls upon all States Members of the United Nations to comply with the above-mentioned resolutions;
3. Takes note of the report of the Secretary-General; 7 4. Extends the stationing in Cyprus of the United Nations Peace-keeping Force, established under Security Council resolution 186 (1964), for an additional period of three months, ending 26 September 1964.

Exprimant sa profonde gratitude au Secretaire general pour ses efforts en vue d'appliquer les resolutions 186 (1964) et 187 (1964) du Conseil de securite, en date des 4 et 13 mars 1964,
Exprimant sa profonde gratitude aux Etats qui ont foumi des troupes, des elements de police, du materiel et un appui financier en vue de !'application de la resolution 186 (1964),
1. Reaffirme ses resolutions 186 (1964) et 187 (1964);
2. Invite tous les Etats Membres de 1'Organisation
des Nations Unies a se conformer aux resolutions sus-
mentionnees;
3. Prend acte du rapport du Secretaire general 7;
4. Prolonge d 'une periode supplementaire de trois mois, prenant fin le 26 septembre 1964, le stationnement
a Chypre de la Force des Nations Unies chargee du
maintien de la paix, qu'il a creee par sa resolution 186 (1964).
